The Norway Baseball Association
In July of 2015, the Benton Community School Board decided to sell the ball diamond they had received from the Norway School District - the two districts merged in 1991 - to the City of Norway; with the proviso that the diamond would remain a ball diamond. In September of 2015, with the sale completed, former Norway players and fans met to form the Norway Baseball Association. The mission of the organization is too see to the maintenance, improvement and use of the Norway Baseball Diamond. A nine member Board of Directors was elected from among the group, and Executive Officers were chosen from the Directors. Work immediately started on raising funds and making improvements to the field and its infrastructure... Click on the “Ball Park Menu” tab to see what’s been done.
