IVL History

The Iowa Valley League was founded in 1935 when teams from: Amana, Atkins, Conroy, Keystone, Newhall, Norway, Walford, and Watkins came together and created the League. Since then, teams from ten different counties have been involved in playing Semi-Pro Baseball in the Iowa Valley.

Walford takes 2 from the QC 76’ers. In Game 1, Parker Bolt gets the 2-1 Win, Shae Bushohl with a Walk-Off 2 Rbi Double in the 7 th . In Game 2, Zach DeMarlie got the 4-1 Win. Gabe and Jack Lux each had an Rbi Double. Williamsburg takes 2 from Red Top. Travis Bowman gets the Win in Game 1: 7-4. Both Jason Thurman and Dan Rogers had Triples and 2 Rbi’s. Cai Brevig gets the Loss. In Game 2, Dustin Meierotto gives up 1 hit in 5 1/3 innings to get the 10-0 Win. Dan Rogers goes 2/2 for 5 hits on the day. Drew Wilcox gets the Loss. Norway and Watkins battle to a split. Norway takes Game 1: 8-7. Norway led 3-0 after 3, but Watkins scores 2 in the 4 th and 5 in the 5 th to take the lead: 7-4. Norway scores 4 in the bottom of the 6 th and holds on to win 8-7. Kooper Schulte gets the Win and Zane Frese takes the Loss. Watkins takes Game 2: 1-0. Skylar Frese goes 7 shut-out Innings for the Win. Peyton Hodges had an Rbi Double. Gage Martin takes the Loss.
